After the initial appointment, I will create a detailed nutrition / meal plan tailored to your goals and taking into account your specific needs and lifestyle. Then then plan and any other relevant resources will be emailed to you and you can get started asap
During your initial consultation we will review your goals, background, current dietary habits, and exercise routine. Then we will go through any relevant nutrition education and create a plan to help you start achieving your goals.
Medicare: To be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate, you need to have a current Chronic Disease Management Plan, from your GP addressed to Clare (dietitian)
Private Health: If you have cover for Dietitian services, we will send you a copy of the paid invoice after your appointment for you to lodge with your insurance company to receive your rebate.
Yes, I provide personalised meal plans as part of the consultation - unless you don't want one of course!
This depends on what your goal is as well as how much support you need
However most clients do fortnightly sessions and then move to monthly as they progress
It will depend on what your goal is eg is it a small goal or one that's going to take some time to achieve. Usually we will see each other regularly until you've achieved that goal.
Although some clients are ongoing clients long term due to adjusting their goals over time, and other clients only need a few consults to achieve their goals.
Nope, you do not need to bring anything! If you have blood test results or anything else that would be useful, it is a bonus if you bring it. But there is nothing that is necessary for you to bring. We can discuss everything within the session.
Yes, we can communicate between sessions via email or text messages. This is include as part of the service as well as check-ins forms sent via email, on top of regular consults. I find this helps with accountability and improving your results.
The meal plans are specifically designed for you. This is part of why I am so comprehensive with appointments and communication, I make the plan specifically for you and your goals, needs and preferences.
